Our story moves between the UK and Spain, with strong family roots in Bristol, Lyme Bay, East Devon and Condado de Alhama.
That gives us a natural connection with families, travellers, holidaymakers, homeowners, expats and people who love this part of Spain.
Spanish adventure stories inspired by real family life
Our first two adventure books, Danger in the Spanish Sun and Danger on Sierra Espuña, were both set in and inspired by our Spanish home near Condado de Alhama, Mazarrón and the Murcia region.
The stories follow a group of brave, kind and curious children on sun-soaked adventures filled with mystery, friendship and danger, very much in the spirit of the classic children’s adventure books we grew up loving.
Even better, the characters were inspired by real children in our family world: George, William, Chloe, Jess and Amber, along with our wonderful dog Lola. In real life, they are every bit as brilliant, brave, funny and kind as the characters they helped inspire.
These books are part of the heart of DaysLikeThis.Life, real family adventures turned into stories for young readers who love mystery, friendship, courage and a touch of danger under the Spanish sun.
