If you’ve spent any time watching what we get up to, you may already have a sense that I sit right at the heart of it all the fun and adventures. I’m the organiser, the motivator, and usually the one working away behind the scenes — and generally, the one making the it all happen.

I’ve always had a knack for taking an idea and turning it into something real. Whether that’s planning a trip, working on the website, or helping shape a new creative direction, I like to keep things moving and make sure everything comes together the way it should.

​

In our house, I’ve somehow picked up the roles of travel agent, chef, organiser and chief motivator — which probably tells you everything you need to know. I love creating moments. The kind you look back on and think, “that was a really good day.” Travel, time together, shared experiences (as well as all the mundane day to day tasks) — that’s very much my thing, and it runs through everything we do.

I’m also what you would call an extreme day tripper; something I enjoy with my best friend. Early alarms, out the door at the crack of dawn, and home well after the sun’s gone down — that’s my idea of a good day and some 'ME' time. Venice, Paris, Barcelona, Copenhagen, Milan… just a few places I’ve managed to squeeze into a single day. It’s full-on, but I love it — making the most of every minute, exploring somewhere new, visiting the world, one day at a time.

What people don’t always see is the professional journey that sits behind all of this. Before this chapter, I built my career in high-responsibility leadership roles with NatWest, the Royal Bank of Scotland, and later within government. That experience has shaped how I approach everything — staying calm under pressure, being organised, and always thinking a few steps ahead.

​

But for me, being mum to George and William is everything. That’s where it all begins and ends. Family is at the centre of it all, and that’s what gives DaysLikeThis.Life its personality. I try to bring balance — being practical when needed, adventurous by nature, and always ready to encourage the next big idea.

​

I’ve also always played a big part in everything Brett has built over the years. Not just supporting, but working alongside him as a true partner — helping shape ideas, build strong foundations, and turn creative thinking into something real.

At the end of the day, I’m someone who loves turning ideas into plans — and plans into something we can actually experience and share. That’s what this is all about for me.
